Placements
One of the advantages of joining the Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) is the emphasis the Institute gives on finding both summer and final placements in well known multinationals as well as Indian companies and organizations resulting in cent percent success in Placements. However, "No B-school guarantees Placement. So do we. Nevertheless we assure to do our best to facilitate Placements of our students."
The Institute has a separate Placement Group which deals entirely with providing guidance and assistance to students for placing them on summer training/project, as well as suitable placements in companies and organizations on completion of their two year PGDM course.
The Placement Programme begins with the publication of Placement Brochure containing profile of the Institute, its activities, course curriculum and brief details of PGDM students eligible for final as well as summer placements including their work experience and knowledge of foreign languages etc. The brochure is sent to a wide network of corporate business houses, top executives, Banks, IT based companies and Export & Trading Houses and other Companies which are able to recognize the merits of FIIB's students and subsequently opt to select them for various management positions including for their summer training. Normally the placement programme commences during January-February every year.
Besides, the PGDM students are encouraged to make presentations before the companies executives located in the various parts of the country. The participating companies in the Institute's Placement Programme are requested to visit the Institute and deliver Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) giving the companies profile, career opportunities and other relevant details to the PGDM students.
In case, companies do not find it convenient to visit the Institute, twice, one for PPT and another for recruitment & selection of candidates, they could also visit the Institute only once i.e. during the Final Placement Week and conduct the process of final selection.
