Practical Exposure

In order to develop students’ academic strength at FIIB, the practical exposure is organised which is a judicious mix of industrial study programmes, field visits, study tours and technical skills development and includes visits to organizations connected with International Business such as Export Promotion Councils, Chamber of Commerce, Noida Export Processing Zone, Inland Container Depot, Custom Houses, Maruti Udyog Ltd., Foreign Exchange Dealers, ITPO, Shipping Companies, Freight Forwarders and Dry Ports in Delhi and major ports like that of Mumbai, Chennai & Kochi.

The course curriculum includes summer internship for PGDM students for six to eight weeks after the completion of Term-III in various export/industrial house , corporate sector and related service organisations where they have to work on a summer project and submit its report to the same and also to FIIB. The Summer Internship exposes them to a real and practical work environment besides working on a project while being attached to a company of repute during the internship.
