Library
FIIB library offers access to a wide range of both printed and electronic sources with an increasing emphasis placed upon electronic delivery of information to users. The library has a stock of over 12,450 books, both foreign and Indian titles covering various aspects of management and business such as International Business, Logistics Management, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and International Marketing. The 191 periodical titles subscribed to by the library are vital sources for academic research and up-to-date business information. It also holds projects done in about 200 major companies.
The collection also includes 300 audio-visual and multimedia documents. Besides, the library subscribes two online electronic databases of CMIE, India Trades and Prowess. These databases are great resources for acquiring information related to Indian Commodities and Indian Companies.
The library has established institutional membership with four other major libraries (for arranging needed documents, not held by the library) such as DELNET (Developing Library Network), AIRC (American Information Resource Centre) BCL (British Council Library) and Max Mullar Bhawan.
The library has all modern equipment like Library Automation Software LS-Ease-LIBSYS, 6 Pentium Machines and Scanner with Printer to support its diverse range of activities. Library operation and services are fully computerized.
The library acts as the main learning resource center of the Institute and provides services and facilities to meet the knowledge and information requirements of the Institute's wide-ranging academic activities. It is among the best library in management subjects.
