International Exposure

1. Real-Time Joint Class in US and India

The Institute in collaboration with Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, U.S.A. conducts a unique and first of its kind course taught by faculty of the two participating B-Schools simultaneously in India and U.S. It is delivered to a batch of students from the Institute and Sam Walton College in real-time through video conferencing. The course uses a combination of theoretical and experiential approaches to teaching. Students in India and U.S. work in smaller groups on live projects sponsored by MNC’s. Top executives of P&G, Pizza Hut and Reebok address the students as part of this course.

Through this exercise, Fortune Institute aims to enhance its quality of management education with the help of technology. It aims to integrate the western and eastern outlooks introducing students to an understanding of strategic competitiveness and the way in which business strategy is formulated and implemented across globe. Real Time Joint Class leverages classroom instruction with online learning activities and interactive team-based problem solving. It is packed with experiences focused on international business and new cultures. The program sensitizes students with a solid grounding in business theory and industry specific learning across cultures.

 

2. Global Exposure through International Faculty

International conferences are regularly held at Fortune Institute campus that draw thought leaders from the global business community, policy makers, and academia. The Institute through this practice continues to evolve as a leading international management provider. 3. International Exposure to Fortune Institute Faculty

Fortune Institute believes that faculty bringing learning from international exposure to the class is key to success in the global business context. It is important for the faculty to gain insights into foreign policies and appreciate global marketplace through firsthand experience. With this objective in mind, Fortune Institute has tie-up with University of Arkansas in USA. Faculty members from the Institute visit University of Arkansas for enhancing their knowledge and teaching skills under faculty enrichment programme, totally financed by the Institute. The Institute through this aims to sensitize and help its faculty to develop teaching skills of global standards.
