Students' Committees

With a view to facilitate involvement and participation of all concerned in the Institute's activities, several committees have been constituted. The convener is one of the faculty members, who heads the committee. However, the real initiative is from the students' side and it is their responsibility to make the events successful.

(I) Placement Committee: The committee deals with all matters relating to placement of students for ensuring timely action for placement, quality of placement, laying down procedure and systems, evolving effective feedback mechanism from FIIB Alumni and employers etc.

(II) Academic Committee: The committee deals with generation of new ideas and organizing debates, seminars, colloquium through students' efforts for professional excellence and knowledge up gradation.

(III) Cultural Committee: The committee deals with cultural events and gets them organized through students' participation. Calendar of activities are drawn in the beginning of the academic year. Various activities include the inaugural function, Freshers' party, Foundation Day & Teacher's Day celebrations and the mega Fortune Festival.

(IV) Administration & Sports Committee: The Committee deals with issues related to administrative matters e.g. Infrastructure, transport, accommodation, canteen facilities etc. It also deals with promotion of sports and ensures students' participation.

(V) Information Technology Committee: The committee deals with issues related to IT and organize IT oriented activities. The committee keeps the information updated, tries to develop technology and apprises the students from time to time.

(VI) Newsletter Committee: This committee is in-charge of the quarterly newsletter of FIIB-"Fortune Times" which has circulation among alumni, corporate houses and B-Schools.
